They Ride With Pride, by Sandy Carroll-Howard

For fifty years the Westernaires have ridden strong and proud,
And thrilled and excited many a crowd.
With costumes flashing neath the overhead lights,
They've given audiences all over great delight.

Their drills of dash and daring do,
Have made little girls and boys say "I want to do that, too".
These riders who fly pass the rail,
With twists and turns their flags unfurled,
Carry the stars and stripes on high.
A stirring sight as they pass on by.

These young people, our futures treasure,
An asset great who have no measure,
Ride so swift, so free, so bold,
They truly are a sight to behold.

Maybe I can ride with this group so grand,
The Westernaires known throughout the land,
They ride with courage and a great deal of pride,
Yes, this is for me, I too want to ride.
