Interclub 2024

"Interclub", as it's come to be called, is an opportunity for our youngest riders to show off their newly-gained equitation skills.  It's also one of the rare occasions when Westernaire riders are asked to compete individually, rather than as a team.

All Tenderfoot- and Junior-level riders are grouped into classes by age and perform basic maneuvers that one might see in a Western equitation show (walk, trot, lope, reverse).

Independent judges select the top 5 riders from each class for ribbons.  The top 3 riders from each class advance to the semi-final rounds.  Eventually, the Top 5 riders for the entire club are crowned!

In between equitation classes, the audience is entertained by various specialty acts.  The graduating Westernaires Seniors provide comic relief and pose with each classes' winners.
